Damon D. Green is a Chicago base dance artist and founder of TEXTUREDance Studio, a Urban Styles and Forms movement pratice. It is here, Green spreads his passion for the art of movement education and development. Green is well verse and a prominent contemporary performer in the city of Chicago and has proven his loyalty in the community, holding his presence with the critically acclaims dance performance company “The SELDOMS” for 13 years, led by Artistic Director and Dance educator Carrie Hanson. Green is also is an avid Vogue aesethetic practitioner, exploring and performing this form, in its fusion with other movement forms and a collaborative force alongside Associate Professor of Dance and 2013 Bessies Award winner, Darrell Jones.  In additional to, Green has collaborated with profound Art advocates, Choreographers, dance artist, Visual artist and educators Such as Paige Cunningham-Calderalla, Jsun Howard, Philip Elson Kristina Isabelle, Cecil Johnson Jr, Jane Beachy, Mauren Sledge ( house of Avant-Garde) .  Green continues to explore and contribute his movement education and knowledge of dance though workshop and master classes throughout the City of Chicago as well  as abroad; Russia, Canada and Japan. Timeout Chicago rated Green as one of the "Top 10 Men of Dance" In 2010.

From Denver, CO, Hannah Santistevan is a performing dance artist, educator, and choreographer. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. Prior to her education at Columbia, Hannah attended Denver School of the Arts 6th-12th grade, training in Ballet, Pointe, Modern (Limon, Horton, Graham), West African, Hip Hop, Tap, and Flamenco. She gained a passion for improvisational practices during her time at Columbia. Upon Hannah’s completion of her undergraduate education, she pursued dance education at Boston P-8 (a public school in Colorado) as their first Dance Specialist. Hannah has had the opportunity to perform in work choreographed by Onye Ozuzu, Erika Randall, Victor Alexander, Kristina Isabelle, Margi Cole, Keesha Beckford, Scott Putman, and Kyle Seguin. Hannah joined The Seldoms in 2017

“India Monae” Smith was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan; where she realized her love for dance at a young age. As Smith grew older, her styles in dance increased. Soon she fell in love with the culture of Hip-Hop and all it represents. Smith started her Modern dance training under choreographer and dance instructor, Miss Deborah Wilson in 2004. Smith instructed and performed solo and collaborative works at this time and shortly thereafter premiered her on stage choreography in 2007.  Smith then, continued her dance training at Columbia College of Chicago to pursue her degree in dance and early childhood education. While in Chicago, Smith has had the pleasure of training under a wide variety of highly respected choreographers in and out of the Chicago dance community. Smith has had the joy of repaying the respect by teaching masterclasses all throughout the Midwest and Southern states with Precision Arts Dance Competition; as well as judging competitions. She has performed in various dance events such as “The O Project: featuring Black Eyed Peas”, World of Dance, Carnival Choreographer’s Ball, Urbanite: Red Bull Dance Showcase, and Chicago Summer Dance Celebration; just to name a few. Smith featured as a dancer on Style Network’s 2012 season Premiere of Chicagolicious. Smith is currently an active member of Movement Revolution Dance Company and is instructing many genres of dance across the city of Chicago. She strives to reach for her goals and to push others to do the same. She believes that dance is love, light, and life.
